Title says it all: it would be interesting to be able to easily do a PDF of all pages in a dashboard.
This is now supported directly by Google - see https://support.google.com/datastudio/answer/9125317
Would be great to be able to access the hamburger menu normally only available once you open the Tag within the overview list. Would enable quick copy/delete/pause/etc from the full list of tags.
Not sure if this is possible but would be amazing time saver when taking over accounts and making large amounts of edits to clients.
It would save some time if I could just click CTLR + S (or CMD + S) and Tag's/Trigger's/Variable's settings would be saved. Now, I have to move my mouse every time to the top right corner of the window.
I haven't implemented the cascading Save yet, but if you press ctrl+shift+1st letter of button you now have shortcuts for every active button.
When having appended the hostname to the page in GA the hostname is duplicated when clicking on the icon to open the url in a new page. As adding the hostname to the page in the ga reports is very common an option to remove this second hostname would be a
The HostPrefix feature is added to version 2018.11.02! :)
I use several Google accounts each for different purposes. I also have two analytical profiles I use. An old legacy one with many older clients, and a new one that is common to our team. I often need to switch between accounts.
After I authenticate to an account, I can sign out. However, when I sign back in the system automatically logs me back into the same account without an option to switch. I can work around this if I add the extension to multiple instances of my browser, each logged into a different account and the extension authenticated to that account.
I consider not being able to switch a bug.
You will be glad to know the next release of Da Vinci will handle sign-in/sign-out correctly. I'm starting to introduce features that will require GA and GTM access so I had to review it and I found the problem which prevented proper account selection when already authenticated once (a known issue on the Google side, but I have managed to find a way to do it)
Done in release 2018.10.25 - a new dark theme option :)
Da Vinci improves the following elements in the editor:
- highlight variables
- dark theme option
- code reformatting
Google already provides the option to enlarge the window (something that was in the old Code Editor for GTM extension)
I am running into an issue where I cannot add users to a GA account unless the extension is disabled. If I disable the extension everything works fine, but with the extension enabled I get a "Failed to update data" message.
This is fixed in v2018.7.17, which should be deployed automatically shortly.
